Find out moreWithin our M&G Episode Fund range, the M&G Episode Income Fund is focused on providing a regular, rising income as well as the potential for capital growth over the long term. We seek to achieve this by investing in different types of assets from all over the world – typically holding 40-80% of the fund in fixed income, 20-50% in equities and up to 20% in other assets such as shares of property companies and convertible bonds.
By taking a more cautious approach, our fund manager looks to avoid investing in higher-yielding assets (in other words, investments which have higher potential returns, but which may not be so reliable) that could put the fund's capital and regular income payments at risk.
All this means that the M&G Episode Income Fund carries less risk than other funds in our multi asset range, specifically the M&G Episode Allocation Fund and the M&G Episode Growth Fund, and it may appeal to investors who are looking for a regular income from their investments.
